Academic Year 2025 (First semester)
The Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Institutional Practices in Mental Health announces the opening of applications for the selection process of candidates, at the Master's and Doctorate levels, aiming to fill remaining vacancies for the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The application period is from December 26, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
Application will be made online only.
The candidate must submit the following documents:
- Copy of ID card or other identification document with national validity, for Brazilian candidates;
- Copy of birth or marriage certificate;
- Copy of CPF;
- Copy of academic transcript of the undergraduate course(s);
- Copy of graduation diploma from a course recognized by MEC;
- Documented curriculum vitae (preferably Lattes, from CNPq);
- Project Intent Form, available on the Program's website, under Selection Process, fully completed and signed.
- Application fee of R$ 45.00 (*);
- Copy of the proof of payment of the registration fee.
- Copy of the National Migratory Registry (NMR) or document proving regular permanence in Brazil;
- CELPE-BRAS certificate of proficiency in Portuguese (http://portal.inep.gov.br/acoes-internacionais/celpe-bras). The exam registration protocol can be accepted.
- Copy of the school transcript and degree course diploma duly revalidated, according to the legislation in force, except in the case of international agreements, provided they are incorporated by Brazil.

Candidates who attended undergraduate courses at foreign institutions must submit the following documents:
(*) The registration fee must be paid through a bank slip generated at the end of the online registration form.
In case of any issue related to the generation or payment of the invoice, it is recommended to contact directly the Secretary of the Program.
The application fee will not be refunded if the candidate is not classified for any stage of the selection process.
Candidates must send digital copies of the documents, in PDF format, to the e-mail: pgpsicologia@unip.br and wait for confirmation of receipt. Only legible, original-sized copies will be accepted.
In case of approval in the selection process, all documents must have their originals presented at the time of enrollment.
Applications with partial delivery of documentation or illegible documents that do not strictly comply with the provisions of this Tender Protocol will not be accepted.
The selection for the Professional Master in Institutional Practice in Mental Health comprises:
Stage I - Registration and Submission of Documents (Eliminatory).
The registration will only be validated upon payment of the bank slip and submission of the complete documentation by the stipulated deadline. A validação é feita por e-mail de confirmação enviado ao candidato
Stage II - Resume Analysis (Only for candidates approved in Stage I)
Analysis of Résumé (preferably Lattes résumé).
Analysis of the Project Intent Form DOC regarding:
- Contribution of the project to the promotion and development of mental health among the target population of the project;
- Adequacy of the theoretical basis of the proposed project;
- Ethical adequacy of the project, with regard to research with human beings;
- Feasibility of execution within 24 months;
- Availability of the suggested advisor.
Stage III - Selection Exam (Eliminatory)
Written Exam: Dissertation on a theme proposed in the exam, based on the recommended bibliography.
Individual interview with each candidate.
- If a candidate is unable to attend any stage of the selection process, they must contact in advance by phone at (16) 3602-6720 or by email at pgpsicologia@unip.br to check the possibility of rescheduling to another date. Absence without prior notice will result in the candidate's disqualification.
- Approval in the selection process is subject to the review of the Selection Committee, which has full autonomy to decide on the acceptance or rejection of any candidate. All decisions of the Committee are final and irrevocable, based on the criteria established by the announcement and its careful judgment. Therefore, the reasons for candidates being selected or not will not be disclosed.
- Any issues not covered in this announcement will be resolved, in the first instance, by the Coordinator; in the second instance, by the Board; and finally, by the Vice Presidency of Postgraduate Studies and Research.
STEP I - REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENT SUBMISSION

STEP II - CURRICULUM REVIEW
February 3, 2025 (Monday), from 2 pm – Announcement of candidates approved for Stage III.
STEP III - SELECTION EXAM FOR CANDIDATES APPROVED IN STEP I
February 4, 2025 (Tuesday), starting at 8:30 am – Written Test and Interview.
IMPORTANT: The written test and interview will be held in person at the UNIP Campus in Ribeirão Preto/SP, - Block A - located at Avenida Carlos Consoni, 10, Jardim Canadá.

SELECTION RESULTS
February 4, 2025 (Tuesday), starting at 6:00 p.m. – Announcement of approved candidates.
February 5, 2025 (Wednesday), at 7:00 p.m. – Online meeting with approved candidates and the Program Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Paulo Eduardo Benzoni, to present the course and provide general information.
NOTE: The meeting will be held via video conferencing, using Microsoft Teams. The access link will be sent to approved users on February 5, 2025, starting at 10 a.m.
Enrollment must be done in person at the Program Secretariat on February 6, 2025, when the candidate must:
- Present the following original documents:
a) Identity Card or other identification document with national validity, for Brazilian candidates;
b) CPF;
c) Birth or Marriage Certificate
d) School History of the Undergraduate Course from a course recognized by MEC;
e) Graduation Course Diploma from a course recognized by MEC, registered;
f) 2 3x4 photographs (recent);
Foreign candidates must also present:
g) National Migratory Registry (NMR) or document proving regular stay in Brazil;
h) CELPE-BRAS certificate of Portuguese language proficiency. The exam registration protocol can be accepted.
Candidates who studied at foreign institutions must present the following documents:
i) School transcript and diploma of the undergraduate course duly revalidated, according to the legislation in force, except in the case of international agreements, provided they have been incorporated by Brazil. - Sign the Educational Services Contract;
- Choose the subjects to be taken during the semester;
- Withdraw the payment slip for the enrollment.
