Ementa

Abordagem de elementos relevantes em oncologia, dentro de um enfoque celular e molecular, relacionando características biológicas norteadoras da condição com a elaboração de trajetos para o diagnóstico e terapêutica desses processos. Conceito, classificação, diferenças entre neoplasias benignas e malignas. Características biológicas centrais, circuitaria proliferativa e metabolismo tumoral. Princípios diagnósticos: citopatologia, histopatologia e imuno-histoquímica. Microambiente tumoral e dormência. Metastatização. Estratégias terapêuticas.
