Doctorate Coordinator

PhD in Production Engineering/Polytechnic School/USP; He advised the Rectory of UNESP on matters relating to Planning and Budget Management (1983 to 1987). He was Superintendent Director of the State Center for Technological Education Paula Souza (CEETEPS), from 1987 to 1991 He created the ETECs São Paulo and Itapetininga and the FATECs of Ourinhos and Jau. He served in the Department of Production Engineering at the Polytechnic School of USP as a representative of the partnership to qualify professors for the FATECs (1994 to 1997). He developed the project for the creation and approval by CAPES of the Professional Master's Degree in Housing at the Technological Research Institute of the State of São Paulo (IPT), in 1995/96. Organized and developed the project for the creation of the stricto sensu Masters in Production Engineering at Universidade Paulista, in 1997 and the Doctorate in 2006. Coordinates the Graduate Program in Production Engineering – PPGEP, since 1997. He co-authored 6 books , 25 Supervised 26 doctoral theses and 39 master's theses. He created the Group and led research on meat, leather and footwear, developed digital equipment for grading bovine leather, from 1999 to 2012. He is currently Leader of the School Feeding Research Group – GPAE (2018...).

Irenilza de Alencar Nääs

Profa. Dra. Irenilza de Alencar Nääs

Master's Coordinator

Engineer from UNICAMP and Master in Agriculture from Cal Poly State University. She completed a PhD in Agricultural Engineering at Michigan State University in 1980. She is a tenured professor at UNIP in the Master's and Doctoral Program in Production Engineering. She is a Research Productivity 1A grantee from CNPQ. He has several articles published in specialized journals and works presented in annals of scientific events, book chapters and published books, in addition to technological products and patented software. He received awards and honors in Brazil and abroad. He was president of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineering-SBEA, of the Asociación Latino Americana y del Caribe de Ingenieria Agricola-ALIA, of the International Commission of Agricultural Engineering-CIGR and of FACTA-Fundação de Ciência e Tecnologia Avícola. He is a member of academies and associations in Brazil and abroad, being a Fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers-ASABE and a member of the Scientific Research Honor Society-Sigma Xi. His main research interest is the development of models applied to agribusiness food production chains.

Ana Lúcia Figueiredo Facin

Profa. Dra. Ana Lúcia Figueiredo Facin

He holds a postdoctoral and doctoral degree in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), respectively completed in 2021 and 2017, with research on the evolution of the platform concept in the development of new products and on ecosystems based on digital platforms. He has a master's degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP (1998), with research on CAD / CAM / CAE in Simultaneous Engineering. He graduated in Naval Engineering also from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1991). Specialization in Project Management from EPUSP - Fundação Vanzolini (2002) and specialization in Software Engineering from UNICAMP (2004). Currently, she is a full professor at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at UNIP and a Collaborating Professor at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at Universidade Estatual Paulista (UNESP). She was a professor of the Specialization Course in Project Management, at the Department of Production Engineering at POLI / USP, under the responsibility of the Carlos Alberto Vanzolini Foundation (2015-2018). She has professional experience in PROJECT MANAGEMENT, especially in Information Technology in organizations such as IPT, COPESP, ELUCID SOLUTIONS, SAP BRASIL AND AES ELETROPAULO. She develops research in innovation management, ecosystem management (company networks) based on digital platforms and digital transformation.

Biagio F. Giannetti

Prof. Dr. Biagio F. Giannetti

He holds a Master's (1989) and Doctorate (1994) in Sciences from USP. In 1992, he began his teaching career at UNIP as adjunct professor III and is currently a full professor. At UNIP, he held the position of course coordinator in engineering and currently holds the positions of professor in the Graduate Program in Production Engineering and coordinator of the Research Laboratory (LaProMA). He is a Research Group leader registered in the CNPq Directory of Research Groups in Brazil since 1995. Since 2016 he has been a visiting professor at BNU (Beijing-China), within the scope of the National High-end Foreign Experts Recruitment Program. He is also a visiting professor at UNISON (Sonora-Mexico) and UNIFI (Florence-Italy). He has more than 300 published works - including books, articles and lectures - dealing with Production and the Environment. In Scopus, his h-index is 31 and the i10 index in Google Scholar is 87. He is on the Honorary Board Members of the Journal of Cleaner Production and is an associate editor of the journal Frontiers in Energy Research. President of the International Society for the Advancement of Emergy Research and Director of the Global Center for Advances in Cleaner Production Network.

Cecilia M. Villas Bôas de Almeida

Profa. Dra. Cecilia M. Villas Bôas de Almeida

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (1983), a Master's degree in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1995) and a PhD in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1999). She is currently a full professor at ICET (Institute of Exact Sciences and Technology) and at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at Universidade Paulista. She develops research in Cleaner Production and Industrial Ecology, in which concepts, tools and techniques for calculating environmental indicators and sustainability indicators are analyzed and developed. She also works as a researcher at LaPROMA (Laboratory of Production and Environment) at Universidade Paulista. From 2012 to 2015 she served as Subject Editor: Cleaner Production in Latin America for the Journal of Cleaner Production, in 2016 she served as Executive Editor, and since May 2017 she has been Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cleaner Production. She is Editor-in-Chief of Cleaner and Responsible Consumption.

Feni Agostinho

Prof. Dr. Feni Agostinho

Graduated in Agricultural Engineering (2001), Master (2005) and Doctor (2009) in Food Engineering (FEA) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a sandwich Doctorate from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, Italy. He completed a Post-Doctorate in 2011 at FEA on the topic of energy-environmental impacts of ethanol production. Since 2012, he has been a professor at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at Universidade Paulista (UNIP), working in the area of ​​Sustainability in Production Systems in projects related to the themes of cleaner production, circular economy, integrated agricultural production, urban systems, solid waste management alternatives. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at USP, a doctorate in philosophy and a professorship at the Faculty of Medicine at the same university. He was Visiting Professor at several institutions such as the University of Shizuoka, Japan, University of Concepción, Chile, National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico, Hokkaido University, Japan, Catholic University of Sacro Cuore, Italy, Timisoara University, Romania, Taiwan National University, Taiwan. He leads the Research Group “Paraconsistent Logics and Artificial Intelligence” at Universidade Paulista cataloged by CNPq. He has numerous works and books edited in Brazil, Holland, Mexico, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Belgium and other countries. He was coordinator of the Logic and Theory of Science Group at the Institute for Advanced Studies at USP. Elected “Senior Member” of the IEEE Advancing Technology for Humanity – United States and awarded with recognition plaque – The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. on January 8, 2011. His research topics revolve around the applications of paraconsistent systems in AI, Production Engineering, Biomedicine.

Graduated in Logistics with an emphasis on Transport (2005) from the State Center for Technological Education Paula Souza – Faculdade de Tecnologia da Zona Leste, he holds a Master's (2008) and Doctor's (2011) in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista - UNIP. He has a Postdoctoral degree (2014) in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista – UNIP with a PNPD / Capes scholarship and had an internship as a young researcher (2016) at the University of Porto with a scholarship from Banco Santander. Leader of the RESUP/CNPq research group, he researches in the area of agribusiness logistics and its production chains, in the application of systems to problems in Production Engineering and in urban mobility and logistics in cities. He is a member of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) Group 5.7, APMS (Advances in Production Management Systems) in which he co-leads the Production Management in Food Supply Chains group. He has also been an active member of the International Congress on Information Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain (ILS – Information Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain) and coordinator of the Congress on Business Networks and Logistics Management (NETLOG – Network Enterprises and Logistics Management).

Marcelo Tsuguio Okano

Graduated in Mathematics (1992), Master in Administration (2006) from USCS, Doctor (2010) in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista (UNIP) and Doctor (2020) in Administration from the School of Business Administration of São Paulo (EAESP) of Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). He completed his Post-Doctorate (Production Engineering) in 2013 at FEG-UNESP on the subject of the use of ICTs in supply chain management (SCM) and in 2015 he completed his Post-Doctorate (Production Engineering) in innovation and entrepreneurship at Paulista University (UNIP). He has worked in several technology companies occupying technical and executive positions in Brazil and abroad. He was a permanent professor at the Professional Master's Degree in Management and Technology in Productive Systems at Centro Paula Souza (CEETEPS) between 2015 and 2021. Since 2022 he has been a professor at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at Universidade Paulista (UNIP), working in the area of Operation Systems Management concentration in projects related to information and communication technology, digital technologies, technological innovation, digital transformation, digital platforms, digital ecosystems and LGPD. Volunteer Collaborator Researcher at the Faculty of Technology at UNICAMP since 2020 working in the areas of IT and Telecommunications. Criteria for Teachers Accreditation and De-Accreditation

In order for a teacher to be considered permanent in the Program, he / she must present a profile compatible with the CAPES criteria:

  • Score greater or equal to 60 points, according to criteria based on the activities: discipline taught, guidelines and research projects.
  • Five or more articles in the four-year period classified in Qualis Periódicos by CAPES, two of which are considered as qualified production (A1-A4) or with an impact factor (JCR).
  • Fundraising with development agencies.
