Fundamentos para o Diagnóstico e Tratamento das Doenças Periodontais

Ementa: A disciplina aborda os conhecimentos fundamentais das áreas de histologia, patologia, epidemiologia e microbiologia aplicados ao diagnóstico e tratamento das doenças periodontais. Através de seminários, os alunos terão a oportunidade de discutir a literatura científica mais recente, analisar casos clínicos e explorar as diferentes abordagens terapêuticas utilizadas no manejo das doenças periodontais. O curso enfatiza a importância da compreensão dos mecanismos patológicos que levam ao desenvolvimento da doença periodontal, bem como as estratégias de tratamento baseadas em evidências científicas.
