Syllabus
The discipline "Fundamentals of Academic Writing" is part of the strategic planning of internationalization of the Strictu Sensu post-graduation program in Dentistry of UNIP. During the semester in which the discipline will be taught, students discuss the topics of writing of scientific articles and will apply the knowledge in a text to be delivered as the final work of the discipline. Classes will be taught in English language. Students will have the opportunity of applying the knowledge acquired in the discipline during all classes. Students will be evaluated daily and the final score will be the arithmetic average obtained with the final work score (for weight 2). The discipline aims at making the students exercise English language writing in their scientific works. Aspects referring to the integrity in academic research will also be addressed. It is intended, with these activities, to insert the program in the academic field at international level, aiming at the production and scientific collaboration.
