Syllabus
This discipline analyzes part of the Brazil-Spain radio production with the most expressive programs, speakers, directors, radio actors, orchestras etc., a production that was broadcast in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. We present a radio archeology of the radios showing the development of radiophonia in both countries and the wealth that this production represents in the construction of Brazilian and Spanish memory and culture. The radio, without a doubt, is the great mediator of culture in both countries, in Brazil, for example, O Rei do Baião, Luiz Gonzaga, would not be known in the south-southeast if it were not for the radio. The medium was also strategic, for example, in the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932 and in the Spanish civil war (1936-1939). Our method presupposes the analysis of production in this period of time, of documents, use of texts from books and articles on the subject.
